Men’s Retreat

by Eric Stephens on January 5, 2008

Its all tentative right now, but we’re thinking about a Men’s Retreat at Fair Haven’s Sabin Hall on 28-29 March 2008. The plan is to arrive sometime after dinner on Friday and then stay through late Saturday afternoon. Saturday will consist of Bible Study, prayer, and eating. The cost is yet to be determined but my estimates, based on my Boy Scout activities, show we should be able to do this trip for no more than $20 per dude.

Each participant will need to supply their own sleeping bag and pad/mattress. While the hall is heated there are no bunks in this building so we’ll have to sleep on the floor. Aside from that there is a full kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace. Participants can also choose to just come up on Saturday morning to avoid the cozy concrete floor :-)
If you are interested please contact me ASAP (eric.a.stephens@gmail.com) so I can get the arrangements going. I hope to hear from you soon!

Man. Everybody’s getting real excited about this concrete floor. I hope it’s as cool as you guys make it out to be.

Eric, I’m there as you know. Just let me know when the food planning will be. Can’t wait! On another subject, mens prayer Saturday was very good. Was uplifted and encouraged. Praise God, Mark.

To add to the mens retreat, if anyone needs a ground pad, mattress or sleeping bag, let me know. I have extras. Mark
