Despite the late arrival of summer school starts soon. That means we’ll fire up the men’s Saturday study again on 12 September at 8am. This autumn we’ll dive into the doctrine of the Holy Spirit. We’ll learn who (!) he is and the benefits he provides the modern Christian.
As a guide we will use R. A. Torrey’s book The Presence and Work of the Holy Spirit. This book provides a comprehensive overview of what the Bible says about the Holy Spirit in our lives.
As before, we’ll order a bunch of the books and ask that you pick your copy from the church office. Unless, of course, you already own a copy. If you cannot normally attend but want to follow along by all means read along with us. Feel free to email/twitter with questions or comments along the way!
I pray that you consider joining us on Saturdays. We always have a good time. But more importantly, it is a great way to get to know your fellow “dudes” at church and fellowship with God in prayer and reading of Scripture.
