Colossians 3:18-21

by Pastor Ken on October 25, 2009

God made us for relationship.  Being relational is actually an aspect of being created in His image.  I don’t think we appreciate just how much we need each other.  I came across these conclusions of a study of the importance of relationships in our lives.  “Single men are jailed more often, earn less, have more illnesses and die at a younger age than married men.  Married men with cancer live 20% longer than single men with the same cancer.  Women, who often have more close friendships than men, survive longer with the same cancers.  Married or not, relationships keep us alive.”

Let’s look at our lives and invest in the people that God has placed in our lives.  If we will do that, we will live longer, more productive lives in Christ.
