So, how many of you know what it means to be “in the doghouse”? It’s not a very pleasant place to be, is it? Maybe when we were younger we didn’t finish our vegetables, so it was to the doghouse we went. Or now that you’re older, perhaps you decided that you would cut out from work just a bit early. So…well, you know.
But here’s a question for you. Why is it when we are in places we know we shouldn’t be that God still blesses us? Beloved, we’ll see tonight as we take another look at the lives of two kings - Jehoram and Jehoshaphat - that there is only one answer to the question. It is nothing but the undeserved, unmatched grace of God.
